Internships and Training
QBRI is committed to the training and development of the next generation scientists and highly skilled workforce by providing mentoring, advanced scientific and research training opportunities and career guidance to young scientists from Qatar and the region in the fields of basic, applied, translational and clinical research.
QBRI is a proud partner of Qatar Science Leadership Program
(QSLP), a capacity building program offering unique opportunities for young scientists in Qatar to pursue careers in health and biomedical research.
Dr. Amany Dahir is QBRI’s first intern from QSLP. Her internship in QBRI mainly involves working on a collaborative project with the Supreme Council of Health focused on conducting qualitative research on the perception of clinical trials in Qatar, the results of which are to be published in a scientific journal. To enhance her learning experience during her time in QBRI, Dr. Amany is currently participating in the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program conducted by Harvard Medical School. “My internship in QBRI helps my career and professional development tremendously. It is enabling me to pursue my interests while acquiring my core research skills. QBRI proved to be the perfect place for me to develop my interest in translational research”
- Dr. Amany.
